Dr. Lakshmi K P

MBBS, MD

Dr.Lakshmi completed MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut in 2011. She worked in a government community health centre for a brief period afterwards. She later joined the postgraduate training programme in psychiatry at Government Medical College, Calicut in 2014 and completed her MD in 2017. Her research dissertation was about the psychological factors and mental ill health among those who attempted suicide. This was a cross sectional study with the sample population drawn from a tertiary healthcare centre in North Kerala.

She also underwent training in Child Psychiatry and De-addiction treatment at NIMHANS, Bangalore as part of her MD programme. She worked as senior resident in psychiatry at Government Medical College Hospital, Alappuzha for one year before joining the Brain and Mind Clinic team in 2018.
